The Masterclip Outback is an air cooled 200w, mains powered, professional heavy duty alpaca clipper.
Ergonomic in design, this powerful clipper is easy to use and it only weighs 1.45kgs. An ideal clipper to use for small herds.
Two sets of blades are included in the touch carry case, along with a brush and clipper oil, to help you maintain your alpaca clippers.
IMPORTANT: It is advisable to use an RCD safety adaptor when clipping. If the plug detects any electrical faults, it will interrupt the flow of electricity and will automatically turn your clippers off. The RCD can then be reset and reused. Click here to the accessories page, where you will find the RCD plugs.

Look after your alpaca clippers, because if maintained properly, they will last for many years. Make sure that you store them in a dry place, as any damp may affect the performance of the clipper.
Oil your clippers before, during and after use. If you do not keep them oiled, the motor will struggle, get hot and the clippers will probably stop working.
Drop some oil along the edge of the blades before use and also put some oil into the lubricating points on the clipper head, wiping off any excess. This only applies if using a heavy duty clipper. If however, you are using a clipper from our light or medium duty range, you will only need to oil the blades.
Always make sure that the clipper blades are kept clean and only ever oil when they are free from dirt and grease. Do not wash your blades in water as this may cause them to rust.
Listen to your clippers, if the noise changes, then there is a problem. If you are using a heavy duty clipper that has recently been oiled, it may be the tension that is incorrect. This can be frustrating, but it is easily rectified by either referring to the manufacturer’s instruction booklet or calling us at Masterclip for further advice.
When you have finished, brush off any dirt that is on the machine and if your clipper has an air filter, remove it and clean out any trapped hair. This should be done regularly as the dirt builds up quickly and it could cause the motor to overheat and eventually damage the clipper. Remove the clipping blades and brush off any muck from inside the clipper. Oil everything before putting away into store.
If you should experience any problems with your alpaca clippers, we can often resolve them by just one phone call. In the unlikely event of there being a fault with your alpaca clippers during the warranty period, all you need to do is return the clippers to us and we will either repair or replace.
We have many accessories to help you maintain and get more use from your clippers. To See our Accessories
